DVD Digipak Research

A digipak is a style of compact disk or DVD packaging, and is a registered trade mark of AGI media. It consists of a gatefold template and is usually made from paperboard or card.

A digipak often contains:
- CD, with audio tracks - remastered, remixed, acoustic and live songs
- DVD with music videos and live tracks
- Exclusive interviews with the band
- Behind the scenes, making of the music video
- Codes for limited edition merchandise
- Booklet - including song lyrics, messages from the band, interview from the band, Q&A's
- Front cover, inside information and tracklisting

The main features of a digipak are:
- Bonus content/materials
- Band artwork
- Title
- Credits and thanks
- Biographical information on the band
- Artwork/images/photography - the digipak must represent the band in their individual style.
- The bands logo
- Information booklet
- BBFC certification
- Record company logo

- Blurb on the back that tells you what is featured in the digipak
- Reveiw quotes
